Ryan represents clients in patent cases in federal district courts across the country. Ryan is also well-versed in appellate briefing and licensing negotiations. Ryan is admitted in California and Illinois and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Ryan is comfortable working with complex technology and has experience working with a broad array of technologies, including antivirus protection, advertising, location mapping, VPN technology, medical records, routing and DDOS prevention systems, document backup and retrieval systems, simulation authoring tools, internet accounting software, electronically controlled glass, laptop audio configurations, and plastic packaging processes.

Prior to joining Kramer Alberti, Ryan worked in the IP litigation group of an international law firm, as well as several boutique IP firms. In addition to Ryan’s patent litigation experience, Ryan has experience in trade secret litigation, patent prosecution, trademark litigation, and copyright litigation.
